- Cute story. Tia and James were obviously meant to be together. I wonder how many multiple times he’d been married before the found the right one, Tia. There wasn’t a lot of drama like I thought it would be having been married several times, surely one of his old wives would have protested or wanted more money. Did he even pay them to get out of the marriage? Nonetheless, he and Tia along with baby Horrell were going to be a family.
- This is the dumbest most predictable book ever. She's trying to convince us she isn't impressed by his money or a closet gold digger. When she sat up and before she realized the man was in her bed, the only thing I thought was pregnant. He is a serial marrying man. He married until he hooked one. What happens when he finds somebody else beautiful and marry her? So predictable, so dumb.
- The premise was good but the execution was lacking. Timeline was confusing and there were important questions to the story that were never discussed. What did the heroine look like besides “ebony skinâ€. SPOILER ALERT. Why would the hero get married numerous times and then have them all annulled? The story needed further character and plot development.
- I'm glad this was a quick read because I found the main characters to be flaky and unbelievable. I found this story to be very poorly written
- Overall, I did enjoy reading this book. There a a lot of typos but the story line kept me engaged. James and Tia's romance story began from a drunken night in Vegas which resulted in a surprise ending. I will be recommending this book to everyone I know!!! Great book Justeen Jones!!!
- A fast moving story that didn’t elaborate clearly what the main character’s really looked like. It did however indicate that she was beautiful, and he was very handsome. It also wasn’t clear why she had been by herself for so long? Why did he get married so many times?
- I liked that she did get married to James again & by the same person who married them in Vegas. I just could not understand how James could keep getting married that goes to show how some people drink a little too much.
